This handbook for survivors of sexual violence and their supporters provides a guide to criminal proceedings and procedures in relation to sexual violence and covers areas such as:

• the reporting process
• medical issues involved
• police procedure
• post trial issues
• an overview of sections 1-4 of the Sexual offences Act 2003
