Description:
Bede is one of the leading agencies providing practical and emotional support to victims of domestic violence in Southwark. Last year, we helped over 500 clients. As deputy to the Domestic Violence and Hate Crime Manager, you will supervise the case management of a team of up to 5 DV caseworkers, whilst having your own small caseload. Candidates should have at least two year’s relevant experience, excellent communication and team skills and be able to demonstrate their ability to lead the team in the Manager’s absence.

Description:
The emphasis of this project is to raise awareness and understanding of the effects of homophobic abuse and LGBT domestic violence in the London Borough of Southwark by outreach work. The post holder will provide and promote a service to victims of homophobic abuse and LGBT domestic violence. He/she will need to be a good organiser with at least one year’s experience of case work. He/she will have the ability to network effectively with participating agencies and be adaptable to changing needs.
