- Our internships are unpaid. We are able to cover travel costs and lunch costs on the days that you are in the office during placement.
- Description:
- Fawcett currently have several exciting opportunities available for internship placements. These placements are designed to provide work experience and an in-depth understanding of the Fawcett Society and the work that we do. The placements are suitable for recent graduates, current students who are required to carry out an internship or those who are returning to the workforce and would like to update their skills and knowledge.
Our internships offer you the opportunity to:
- see a campaign and membership organisation in action
- gain direct insight into the workings of the not-for-profit sector
- participate in our campaign and policy work
- take part in internal and external meetings and events, including with senior policy makers and politicians
- contribute to reports and briefings and other tasks, and to get a detailed overview of our work.
Available internships
- Seeing Double - Fawcett's three year campaign on the experiences of ethnic minority women in the UK.
- Sexism and the City - a national campaign to expose and challenge sexism in UK workplaces.
- femocracy (London and Birmingham) - femocracy is Fawcett’s new project on ethnic minority women and politics.
- Fundraising and communications - Gain valuable skills by supporting a new Development team around Fawcett’s fundraising and communications.
