Description:

LAWA is a voluntary organisation consisting of a Refuge and Advice Centre to provide support, temporary accommodation for Latin American women and their children fleeing domestic violence.

The person appointed will work with LAWA’s users to promote self realization through in house training, workshops and events open to users; to promote awareness and the impact of domestic violence; to work with the team to assist women in accessing external services and take part in the referral process.

Fluency in English / Spanish essential,Portuguese desirable.
