Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (Haringey)

NJC 27-30(incl LW) - £25,201 - £27,724)

Description:

You will be working as part of the Advocacy and Training team based at Hearthstone’s premises in LB Haringey, to provide an effective and efficient service to women who have experienced domestic violence. This will include support to access services and maintain safe accommodation.

You will be dealing with very sensitive issues, therefore tact, empathy, good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills are essential.

You must have extensive experience in providing advice, advocacy and support in one or more of the following areas:
* Housing
* Welfare
* Domestic violence and other forms of violence against women
