Position 1:

Women's Development Worker (Ref: PC-8-1/G London E1)

Salary:

c£23-26k pa depending on experience

Description:

This post offers an exciting opportunity to develop our services for commercial sex workers and homeless women.

You will be expected to provide face-to-face advice, manage a caseload, support our women's groups, and undertake occasional outreach work (for which an additional payment and time off in lieu is provided).

In addition, you will also be expected to oversee our beautician training course.

We are looking for someone of graduate calibre who is self-motivated.

An excellent team-worker, you will need at least one year's experience of working with vulnerable women.

Knowledge of homelessness legislation is desirable as is experience of undertaking assessments of clients with complex needs.

Position 2:

Advice Worker - Substance Misuse (Ref: PC-8-2/G London E1)

Salary:

c£23-26k pa depending on experience

Description:

Joining a small multi-disciplinary team you will provide advice and referrals for clients who are misusing drugs or alcohol.

You will be expected to provide face-to-face advice, manage a caseload, and develop harm minimisation initiatives in partnership with other organisations.

Of graduate calibre you must have a least one year's experience of working with clients who misuse drugs or alcohol.

Ideally, you will have a thorough understanding of current practice in this field and of the services available for homeless clients.

An excellent team-worker you will be committed to quality and have an understanding of casework standards.
