- Group:
- Solace (Formerly Camden, Islington and Enfield Women’s Aid) is dedicated to providing a full range of services for women and their children, enabling them to live lives free from domestic violence. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic team members to join our highly committed and friendly team
Position 1 & 2:
- Two Domestic Violence Support Workers – One Refuge Based (Temp one year F/T) & One Floating Support (Permanent 21 hrs per wk)
- Description:
- A minimum of one years relevant experience is necessary for these posts.
- Salary:
- NJC scale point 26-30 (£24,588 - £27,723)
Position 3:
- Senior Children’s Worker (Temp one year F/T)
- Description:
- Experience of working with vulnerable children necessary. You will organise and run the children’s services in our Islington refuges. An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare is essential for this post.
- Salary:
- NJC scale point 26-30 (£24,588 - £27,723)
Position 4:
- Children’s Worker
- Description:
- To provide support and services to children living in our refuges. An NVQ level 3 or equivalent is required for this post.
- Salary:
- NJC scale point 20-24 (£20,958 - £23,277)
Position 5:
- Housekeeper (Female only) (28 hours per week)
- Description:
- Responsible for Health & Safety, minor maintenance and communal cleaning in our women’s refuges. An awareness of the impact of domestic violence is essential.
- Salary:
- NJC point 16-20 (£19,014 - £20,958 pro rata)
Position 6:
- Locum workers required
- Description:
- Refuge and children workers required for short term locum work. Some knowledge of domestic violence essential. NVQ 3 essential for children’s workers
