Description:

WAFE (International Federation of Women Against Fundamentalism and for Equality) urgently needs a Treasurer, due to resignation. Accounts currently in order. Membership small but growing. We need someone who can:

1. Keep accounts in a form suitable to be sent to funding bodies
2. Manage paying-in system and cheque book
3. Send out annual subscription reminders
4. Follow these up where necessary
5. Maintain up-to-date database of members, including payment status

Our Treasurer is an essential member of our team. We raise awareness of the threat to women of religious Fundamentalism and promote the proven human benefits of gender equality. We collaborate with other NGOs to help women achieve decision-making positions.
