Position 1:
- Researcher

- Initial five month contract with possible extension

- Description:
- A researcher is needed with extensive knowledge of synthetic chemicals and their effects on human, particularly women's, health.
- You will do an initial scoping study to identify why a gender perspective is needed in national and international policy-making on sustainable production and consumption of chemicals.
- This stage of the research aims to identify gaps in current policy and women's involvement in the process and recommend what further research and changes are needed to ensure the gender implications are addressed in future policy-making.
- Subject to the outcome of the initial research, a longer-project may follow.
- This post is funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
Position 2:
- London Groups Officer

- Salary:
- Starting salary £24,690 inc ILW (NJC sc pt 27-29)
- Description:
- Someone with experience of managing projects or campaigns and working with community groups and volunteers is sought to train, support and develop WEN groups in London, informing them about and encouraging them to get involved in WEN's activities and helping them become empowered to take action on links between the environment, women and health.
- This post is funded by the Bridgehouse Trust.
