Fundraiser

Short Long Term:

Six month contract, possible extension

14 hrs per week

Salary:

£24,690 pro rata (NJC sp 27)

Description:

Experience of grants, and major donor fundraising.

The role is to do grant and statutory fundraising, help colleagues prepare and submit applications, ensure funding secured is in line with WEN's policies and aims and to develop and implement a strategic funding plan. Significant charity/voluntary sector experience and a proven track record of success are essential, as well as experience of working or volunteering with women's organisations, knowledge of the legal framework for charities, an ability to learn quickly and to work under your own initiative.

Because this post is expected to contribute equally to the running of the WEN office, which may involve dealing with enquiries from women on personal and health matters it is essential that the post holder is a woman. Section 7(2)(e) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 applies.
