Women and Manual Trades

Group Purpose:

* Women and Manual Trades provide information, support and advice to tradeswomen and to women in training in the construction and allied industries.
* We are a membership based organisation, providing valuable networking opportunities for tradeswomen and trainees.
* We run DIY taster workshops for women in our London offices. These can be booked on line. https://www.wamt.org/store/
* In partnership, we organise the annual Construction Diversity Expo http://www.constructiondiversityexpo.org.uk targeted at increasing employment and training in construction for people from under-represented groups (eg women, BAME, disabled, etc)
* WAMT also have an online Directory of Tradeswomen on their website. http://www.wamt.org/findatradeswoman
